Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
on Feb 12,2016 by Olga
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a great experience if you want to get up close to koalas and of course get your photo taken with one. You can also walk around and feed kangaroos. We loved the birds and the talking cockatoos. The staff are also friendly and are happy to answer any questions.

Lone Pine was a great experience for our family. We had an awesome day meeting the animals and even held a koala and hand fed kangaroos. Perfect!

Lovely experience! Had a great time feeding the kangaroos and getting to hold a koala! It is better to book a ticket online , much cheaper and more options for student pricing than on the Lone Pine website itself.I would def recommend this experience to anyone looking to have a one of kind time, you can only have in Australia.

Great Day Out
on Feb 24,2015 by Steph, Brisbane
Like the other reviewers, I didn't have high expectations for the place due to the proximity to Brisbane and the relatively low entry fee. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of Australian animals, in particular the number of koalas. A fun day out!

The animals were absolutely beautiful and well worth spending the day with, however our day was spoilt by arrogant nasty down right rude staff who made us feel leaving. i would give this attraction 5 stars for the animals and 0 for the staff

Definitely One Not To Miss For The Animal Lover
on Sep 28,2014 by Dani Seddon
I loved this sanctuary, with a great variety of animals and the best being free hands on interacting which not many zoo's allow. My favourite part was being able to hand feed kangaroos, something I have never done but loved it. They are so cute, gentle and friendly and all you have to do is pay $2 for the food to feed them which lasts a bit. I would come back!

Didn't have to stay in the long queue during the weekend to buy tickets, which is priceless with a toddler who doesn't want to stay in one place

Was really impressed with Lone Pine Sanctuary... my girlfriend wanted to go and I assumed it would be a bit lame because I'd never heard it before but it was actually really good and good value for money compared to other zoos. There are a ton of different type of animals, it's very clean and well kept and far less commercial and sales-y than many other attractions. Would recommend!
